GOOD HEALTH
Good health is a state of well-being of body and mind and being free from
diseases. A disease is the condition that does not allow the body to function
properly. It is an unhealthy condition of the body.
Causes of Diseases
A large number of diseases are caused by microorganisms. The disease-causing
microorganisms are called germs. When germs enter the body of a person, they
start growing and increase in number. They damage our body cells. These germs
cannot be seen with the naked eye because they are very small. These can be
seen only under a microscope. The germs are carried from a sick person to a
healthy person either by direct contact or through air, food, water or insects.
