          E. Fill in the blanks:
              1. A quadrilateral is a polygon.

              2. A polygon with the least number of sides is called .

              3. is a special type of parallelogram whose all sides are

                   equal but angles not 90°.

              4. A has both pairs of opposite sides parallel.
              5. A quadrilateral having only two pairs of consecutive sides equal and

opposite sides unequal is called a .

              6. A is said to be a square when its sides are
                   equal.

              7. A quadrilateral with only one pair of parallel sides is called .

              8. The line segments joining the opposite vertices in a quadrilateral are
                   called its .

                                                       Circles

In the previous section, we learnt about polygons. A circle is very different
from a polygon because it is made of a curved line only, hence there are
no sides or corners in it.
