Example 2: Fill in the missing digits.

                                  1 2 5 8 9 6 8

                                      4 7 8 5 9 6

                              + 6 9 2 7 3 8 5

                                  8 8 6 1 3 5 7

        Solution: 1 4 2 5 8 3 9 6 8
                                      4 7 2 8 5 9 6 4

                              + 6 9 2 7 4 3 8 2 5

                                  8 8 2 6 1 3 7 5 7

                            At O, 8 + 5 = 13, but the sum must be 17.

                            ∴ 8 + 4 + 5 = 17

                            At T, 1 + 6 + 6 = 13, but it should be 15.

                            ∴ 13 + 2 = 15

                            At H, 1 + 9 + 9 + 8 = 2 7

                              At Th, 2 + 5 + 3 = 10, but it should be 13.

                            ∴ 10 + 3 = 13

                            At TTh, 1 + 8 + 8 = 17, but it would be 21.

                            ∴ 17 + 4 = 21

                            At L, 2 + 5 + 7 = 14, but it should be 16.

                            ∴ 14 + 2 = 16

                            At TL, 1 + 2 + 7 + 2 = 1 2

                              At C, 1 + 4 + 9 = 14, but it must be 18.

                            ∴ 14 + 4 = 18

        Subtraction

For subtracting a large number from another large number, we follow
the same process as we did earlier for the small numbers. We write the
