MATHS LAB ACTIVITY • Experiential learning

Aim: To develop the kids to express a situation using
division facts

Materials: 10 cups and 90 seeds

Method: Each student counts certain number of seeds

and takes 10 cups. Let a student count 24 seeds.

1. Ask the students to keep all the counted seeds in a single cup
and then use a division fact to express it.

Suppose, a student keeps 24 seeds in a cup.
This can be written as 24 ÷ 1= 24.
