        Metre
A metre is used to measure bigger lengths such as

the length of a bed, height of the door, length of a

        saree, etc.
                                                                                          Measuring Tape
In the short form, metre is written as m.

We use measuring tape or metre rod to measure the lengths or

        heights in metres.

          arms are about 1 m. is about 2 m. is about 5 m.
             1 m = 100 cm 2 m = 2 × 100 cm 5 m = 5 × 100 cm
