Advertisement

An advertisement is a method of attracting the attention of the masses. It
can be given in newspapers, magazines, radio, television and the Internet.

It can be displayed on boards too. We can reach all types of people
through advertisements. These can influence the lifestyle of people all

over the world.

 The invention of the steam engine in England was a turning point in the field of transport.

 Today, there are four main types of transport—roadways, railways, airways and waterways.
 India has the second largest railway network in Asia and the fourth largest network of railways in
the world.
 Communication is the exchange of information and ideas with others.
 The means of mass communication include newspaper, radio, television, internet, etc.

 The internet is the latest development in the field of mass communication in the world.
