AT ONE GO
Weather is the condition of atmosphere at a particular place and time.
Climate is the average weather conditions of a place over a long period of time.
Climate is largely dependent upon the temperature of air and amount of rain.
The temperature of the air decreases with increase in height above the sea level.
The Heat Zones on the Earth are Tropical, Temperate and Polar zones.
The mean temperature on the Earth and in the atmosphere is increasing.
The increase in temperature is due to Greenhouse Effect, which is causing Global Warming.
REMEMBER THESE TERMS
Altitude : The height of a place above the mean sea level.
Climate : The average weather condition of a place over a long period of time.
Greenhouse Effect : When some gases are trapped in the atmosphere.
Global Warming : The increase in air temperature due to greenhouse gases.
Recycled : Reusing materials in original or changed form and not throwing them as
waste.
