warming up of air inside the car. In the same way the air around us is

also warming up due to greenhouse effect.

Global warming can create some problems and affects our lifestyle. Some
of the problems are:

1. Melting of glaciers and ice-caps

2. It can cause rise in sea level and thus some islands may sink under

the water.

3. Warming of ocean water can cause heavy rainfall. This can flood the

low-lying areas.

4. It can cause death or extinction of animals, such as polar bears,

penguins, coral reefs and some other rare species.

5. The floods can cause shortage of food and spread of diseases. This

can also cause famines.

6. It can also cause earthquakes, tornadoes and tsunamis.

We must make sincere efforts to save our Earth from the ill-effects of
global warming. We can do some of the following:

1. We can talk to the people and convince them about this problem.

2. We should use environment-friendly sprayers.

3. We should plant more trees and understand their importance.

4. We should use public transport or car pool.

5. We should use fuel-efficient vehicles.

6. We should use a solar water heater.

7. We should not waste electricity.

8. We should use recycled paper as far as possible.

9. We should use cloth or jute bags in place of plastic bags.
