                A. How many line(s) of symmetry can the following designs have?

                     1. 2. 3. 4.

                B. Complete the other half to make a symmetrical shape.
                     1. 2.

                C. Draw the reflection of the following shapes.

                     1. 2. 3.

                                                           3-D Solids

In the previous classes, we learnt about solid objects like cubes, cuboids,

cylinders, cones, spheres, etc. We also studied some features of them,
e.g., the number of faces, edges and corners. Here, we will extend our

study regarding formation and sketching of solids.

               Nets of Solids

In our daily life, many times, we use cardboard hollow cartons for packaging

different articles like shoes, medicines, sweets, etc. The shapes of these
cartons resemble a cube or cuboid. These are made from a flat shape called

               the net of the solid.
