Sketch  of  Solids

               We can make a sketch of solids, especially cube and cuboid, using an
               isometric dot paper. Observe the drawing of the cube given below.

               In a similar way, we can draw a cuboid also.

               View  of  an  Object

               We see several 3-D objects in our surroundings. When we observe an
               object, we are able to see only a particular portion of the object not an

               all round view.

               When we look at an object from its top, it is called the plan of the object;

               from its front, it is called the elevation and from its side, it is called the

               side view of the object.
