A sample of a diary entry is given below. Read it and notice the details about the day

and date.

Saturday, 20 May 20XX

Dear Diary,

I went to a waterfall near Mussoorie called Kempty Falls this morning with
Mom and Dad. It is about 15 km from Mussoorie. The drive in the cab
was very good. The tall, green pine trees and the hills around were simply

beautiful! At some places we saw the clouds descending down the hills and our
cab went right through the clouds. It was amazing! Kempty Falls is a popular
picnic spot. I played in the cold water there. The water falling down the rocks
looks very good. We clicked pictures, too. Later, we had patties from a nearby

shop. It was an exciting day! I felt very happy. We returned to our hotel in
Mussoorie by evening. Now, I am tired.
