But if I stopped holding
                The string of my kite,

It would blow with the wind

For a day and a night.

And then when I found it,
                Wherever it blew,

I should know that the wind

                Had been going there too.

So then I could tell them
                Where the wind goes…

But where the wind comes from

                Nobody knows. —A. A. Milne

                        Alan Alexander Milne (18 January 1882 – 31 January 1956) was
an English writer, very popular for his books about the teddy
bear Winnie-the-Pooh and various poems. He wrote many
children’s poems. Some of these were collected and titled ‘When
We Were Young’. A collection of short stories for children titled
‘A Gallery for Children’ and other stories became a part of the
Winnie-the-Pooh books. Milne is most famous for his two Pooh books about a boy
named Christopher Robin, after his son. His poems, stories, plays and novels are
                        widely read even today.
