Some animals have special eating habits such as:

Sucking the Food

Insects like mosquito and butter ies have long, hollow

suck the nectar from owers and mosquitoes pierce the
skin of other animals and suck their blood.

Some animals have special body parts which they use to get their food.

An elephant has a long, thick and strong nose called
the trunk. It uses its trunk to eat its food and drink

water. It also uses its trunk to take a shower!
