 Root, stem, leaves, flowers, fruits and seeds are the parts of a plant.

 The root fixes the plant firmly in the soil and takes water and nutrients from the soil.
 Leaves make food for the plant.
 The stem carries food and water to different parts of the plant.

 A bud blooms into a flower and a flower turns into a fruit.
 The fruit has seeds inside it. A seed gives rise to a new plant.
