FOOD CHAIN

All living things need food to live and grow. Plants do not take food from outside.

                ey make their own food.
Animals take food from plants. Herbivores eat plants. Some herbivores are eaten by
carnivores. is forms a chain called the food chain.

A simple food chain starts with green plants which are eaten by a herbivore such

as deer, and the deer is nally eaten by a carnivore such as tiger.

All food chains begin with plants and many food chains as you can.

               end with carnivorous animals.

                  AT ONE GO

 All animals need food to live and grow.

 Herbivores eat plants, carnivores eat flesh of other animals, and omnivores eat both plants and
                    flesh of other animals.
 Different animals have different eating habits.
 All animals depend on plants for food, hence a food chain always begins with plants and ends

                    with carnivorous animals.
