Shoma read further: “Serena is the youngest of five sisters. The family

moved to California, where she started playing tennis at the age of

three. Her father, Richard Williams, and mother, Oracene Price, have

been her coaches. The family moved to Florida when Serena was nine
so that she could attend the tennis academy of Rick Macci for more

coaching. When she turned ten, her father wanted her to focus on

school work. In the ninth grade, she was taken out of the academy

and her father took overall coaching at home. Her parents wanted her
to play professional tournaments once she turned sixteen. But when

she turned fourteen, she made her professional debut. Then, there was

               no stopping her.”

Shoma put down the book and called out, “Mom, I’ve given my name

for Lawn Tennis Club in school. I’ll practise well. I want to play
like Serena Williams.” Her mother came and gave her a pat, “Sure.

Why not? Everything is possible if one

Shoma smiled and hugged her mother. She
