Guessing Time for An Activity

We all see many activities done by someone in our home or in our
neighbourhood. For example, making tea, watering plants, knitting a

sweater, ploughing a field, etc. Different things are completed in different

times. To make a cup of tea, we take few minutes; to plough a field, we
take some hours; to weave a cloth, we take some days; to grow a bigger

plant from a seed, it takes few months, etc.

Writing Dates

Chetna and Shobhna, two sisters, are asking their mother, how old they

are now in this year. Mother asks them to write their dates of birth.

Chetna writes as: Shobhna writes as:

June 22, 2004 23–01–2006

They write the dates in different ways. June 22, 2004 also can be written as
22–06–2004 and 23–01–2006 means January 23, 2006. Generally, we

write the date, then the number of the month and finally the year, i.e.,
Date-Month-Year.

In year 2023, Chetna is 19 years and Shobhna is 17 years old.
