P. 114
No, the students are praying in the morning but the boy is watching the
sky in the evening. To avoid such confusion of time, we have to add the
words like morning, evening, noon, midnight, etc., when we read. And
when we write, we should add a.m. and p.m. with time.
We know that a day has 24 hours which starts from 12 o’clock at night
(midnight). 12 o’clock in the day is called the noon.
The time from midnight to noon is denoted by a.m. (ante meridiem).
The time from noon to midnight is denoted by p.m. (post meridiem).
Thus, the time for prayer in the school is 8:00 a.m. and the time when
boy looks at the sky is 8:00 p.m.
