Consider the following example:

In the above example, we see that 2 sections of first circle are shaded
pink out of 4 and are 1 section of second circle is shaded yellowish-green
out of 4.
When the first circle is covered with the second circle, one section shows
only pink shade and one section shows double shade. If double shaded
section is cut off, only pink shade is left.
