Can you name these famous mountaineers?

You have already learnt about different landforms like mountains, hills,

plateaus, plains, islands, deserts, oceans, seas, lakes that are on the Earth.

India is a big country. Therefore, all the above landforms are found in

our country. These all have made our country beautiful. At some places,
the landform is high and at other places, it is flat. Some areas have very

hard rocks and some areas are under sand. Some parts of India have a
very fertile land.

The areas which are high have hills and   Mount Everest (8848 m) is the
mountains. The flat surfaces are called highest peak in the world. It is in

plains and the land under the sand is called the Himalayas.
