Germinating green gram (moong) seeds
 Take a cup full of whole green gram (moong) seeds.
 Soak the seeds in water overnight to begin the germination process.
 Drain the excess water the next morning to prevent rotting.
 Cover the soaked seeds with wet cotton and leave them aside for about 24 hours.

 A er 24 hours, remove the cotton and observe the seeds carefully.
 Notice white thread-like structures emerging from the seeds.

 ese white structures are the roots of baby plants, also known as sprouts.

Knowing and understanding the road safety signs
 Observe di erent road safety signs provided in the gure.

 Identify the shape, colour, and symbol used in each sign.
 Find out the meaning of each road safety sign (e.g., stop sign, speed limit, pedestrian crossing, no U-turn, etc.).
 Understand that each sign gives a speci c instruction or warning to ensure safety on the road.

 Discuss the meaning and importance of these signs in class with classmates and teacher.

 Learn how these signs help in preventing accidents and maintaining tra c rules.
