We already know that we add −s or −es to singular nouns when we want their plural
forms.
Examples: bag − bags, glass − glasses
When some countable nouns end in y, we add −ies to them, after replacing the ‘y’.
Examples: story − stories, butterfly − butterflies
D. Add –s or –ies to the countable nouns and write their plurals.
