Read these sentences.
1. The jackal and his friends stand near the cave.
2. The lion is inside the cave.
The highlighted words ‘near’ and ‘inside’ are position words. We all read about
position words in the earlier class. Words like ‘near’, ‘inside’, ‘in’, ‘on’, ‘under’
and ‘behind’ are position words. They are also called prepositions.
