Subtraction by Drawing Lines • Logical Reasoning

We can subtract by drawing lines.
                                                                          6 – 3 = 3
We have to subtract 3 from 6.

We draw six lines for 6.

From this we cross-out 3 lines.

Now we count the number of lines left uncrossed.

Total number of uncrossed lines is 3

         A. Subtract the following by drawing lines.

              1. 7 – 4 = 2. 8 – 3 =

              3. 9 – 2 = 4. 9 – 4 =

              5. 6 6. 7 7. 8

                   – 2 1 2 3 4 – 5 – 2

                        4

              8. 8 9. 9 10. 9
