Drawing a 3-D object in 2-D
We can draw oblique sketch of a cube or cuboid on a square dot paper.
Top view
Side view Front view
Complete the sketch of incomplete drawing and mark its top view, front
view and side view.
An oblique sketch gives us front view, side view and top view. It does not
show the length of edges in right proportion.
To get the sketch of a solid like cube or cuboid, we also use isometric dot
paper which gives corner view of a solid.
A cube of 2 units edge Complete this cuboid of
