B. Write the following numbers:

2. The number with 6 at ones place, 8 at tens place, 9 at hundreds place,
2 at thousands place, 7 at ten thousands places, 9 at lakhs place, 1 at

ten-lakhs place and 4 at crores place.

3. The number with 2 at ones place, 4 at tens place, 5 at hundreds place,
0 at thousands place, 5 at ten thousands places 9 at lakhs place, 2 at
ten-lakhs place, 6 at crores place and 7 at ten-crores place.

Place Value Chart

Z Z It is divided into periods.

To represent a eight or a nine digit number, a place value chart is divided
into four periods.

Ones period has three places - H , T and O

Thousands period has two places - T.Th and Th

Lakhs period has two places - L and TL

Crores period has two places - C and TC

Eight and nine digit numbers may be written using a place value chart.
