Sumer (whispers): Joginder, look! A hand quashed put an end to
has reached for the bananas. Look, a big,

red-faced monkey is moving stealthily towards the bunch.

Joginder (shouts): So, you are the ghost! (Lifts a stick angrily to

scare it.) We have got you. This is the ghost!

Sumer: We welcome you here, Mr Ghost. Ha-Ha! Run—run—run. Let

us catch it, Joginder. It looks startled.

               (Joginder and
               Sumer chase the

               monkey.)

               Joginder (blows

               a whistle): There
               goes the naughty

               ghost. It runs as

               fast as it can! Let’s
               chase it out of the

               town. (Joginder

               and Sumer drive

               the monkey away.)

(Narrator: When people come to know the truth about the ghost, they

all laugh. All the rumours and superstitions are quashed. They praise

               the two boys.)
