P. 195
Divisibility by 5
The numbers having ones digit 0 or 5 are divisible by 5. For example, 15,
35, 70, 90, 125, etc., are divisible by 5.
Divisibility by 2
The numbers having ones digit 0, 2, 4, 6 or 8 are divisible by 2. For
example, 28, 64, 112, 240, 556, etc., are divisible by 2.
Divisibility by 3
A number is divisible by 3 if the sum of its digits is divisible by 3. For example, 462
has sum of digits 4 + 6 + 2 = 12. As 12 is divisible by 3, so, 462 is also divisible
by 3. 1034 has sum of digits 1 + 0 + 3 + 4 = 8, which is not divisible by 3, so
1034 is not divisible by 3.
