Place Value Chart

place value chart.

Z Z It is divided into periods.

Z Z Five digit numbers may be written using a place value chart as follows.

To represent a five digit number, a place value chart is divided into three

periods.

Ones period has three places – H, T and O

Thousands period has two places – TTh and Th

Lakhs period has two places – TL and L

Let us write 42654 and 560438 in the place value chart.
