MATHS LAB ACTIVITY • Experiential Learning

Aim: To draw 2-D Shapes without lifting the pencil.

Materials: A dot paper, pencil, sketch pens

Note: You will work in groups of 4–5 students.

Method:

1. Each group takes a dot paper and a pencil.

2. Each student of the group will draw at least one 2-D shape without
lifting the pencil from the paper.

3. The group will try to make the shapes in a pattern.

4. Colour the shapes and see how your rangoli looks like.

Here is a sample given for your help.

The teacher will check and announce the winner. The team which makes the
best rangoli with correct designs will be the winner.
