Plane Shapes

We already know these shapes:

Square Rectangle Circle Triangle

Let us know these in details with one more shape.

This is an oval. This is not as round as a circle.

But it can also roll and slide.

Sketching of Plane Shapes

We place a solid on a sheet of paper and trace its bottom using a
pencil. Then we study the plane shape so formed.
