Can you tell the full form of NEWS?
The sun rises in the east. It sets North
in the west. The east and west are
called directions.
There are four main directions. West East
These are east, west, north and
south.
East and west are the directions South
opposite to each other. North and
south are the directions opposite to each other.
How can you find the four directions?
Stand facing the rising Sun and stretch out your arms.
Your face is in the east direction and your back is in the west
direction. Your left hand is in the north direction and your
right hand is in the south direction.
