Sometimes, we change the action words as given below to express actions in

the past. The past is normally expressed by words like yesterday, last week,
last Saturday, last in 2020 and so on.

Examples : 1. He gave me a toy yesterday.

2. We ate noodles last Sunday.

3. Grandmother bought a toy for me last week.
