Kutcha house Bamboo house Pucca house

Now, people build two types of houses. These are kutcha

houses and pucca houses.

In villages, most houses are made of

mud, bamboo, leaves and straw. These

are called kutcha houses.

In towns and cities, most houses are

made of bricks, cement, iron and steel.

These are called pucca houses.
A single-storey building
Pucca houses are stronger than kutcha
houses. These houses can have a single storey or many storeys.

Flats and bungalows are permanent

houses. People living in these houses

stay in them for a long time.
