P. 151

E. Draw the angles of the following measures using a protractor.
                1. 115° 2. 150° 3. 68° 4. 144°

                5. 60° 6. 120° 7. 90° 8. 75°

          F. 1. Draw a line segment PQ of length 6 cm. Draw two lines LM and XY
perpendicular to PQ and passing through the points P and Q respectively.
Are LM and XY parallel or intersecting?

              2. Draw a line AB. Take a point C on the line AB. Draw another line CD
making an angle of 90° with AB. Are the lines AB and CD perpendicular
                   to each other?

         G. State True or False.

              1. The sum of supplementary angles is 90°.
              2. The sum of complementary angles is 180°.

              3. An angle which is equal to its complementary angle is 45°.

              4. The supplement of an acute angle is an obtuse angle.
              5. Two intersecting lines may or may not be perpendicular lines.

              6. Two parallel lines are perpendicular to each other.

              7. A zero angle and a right angle are complementary to each other.
              8. A straight angle is a supplementary angle.

                                             Right–Angle Tester

Take a piece of paper and fold it twice as shown below.

                                                                                         Right angle
