A. It is celebration time! Imagine that New Year is round the corner. Let us make some
decorative things and prepare for the celebrations. Work with your partner and
help each other.

Things needed
 Chart paper of bright colour  Sketch pen  Fevicol  A pair of scissors

 Stars  Satin ribbon (Two metres long)  Round cap of a glass jar

Fold the chart paper multiple Draw a circle using the round Decorate the circles by pasting
times so that you can make 12 cap by placing it upturned on stars on one side of each
cut-outs. the paper. Cut it out. You get circle that is cut out.

Write one letter on each circle using bright Paste all the circles in the satin ribbon and
coloured sketch pens— H-A-P-P-Y N-E-W hang it in the class.

Note: You can make such decorative pieces for any celebration/festival.
