Heidi is a moving story of a little orphan girl who is raised by
Aunt Dete. When Heidi is five years old, Dete takes the girl to her
grandfather, who lives all alone in the Alps. She falls in love with
the mountains and the natural beauty of the place. Her grandfather
at first dislikes the idea of Heidi living with him. But her simple,
loving and caring nature wins the heart of everyone she comes
in contact with—her grandfather, Peter the goatherd and his
blind grandmother. She is a happy child who roams freely on the
mountains and also loves the goats of Peter’s flock.
Heidi is sent away after three years to live with a rich family in
the city. She is unhappy there and longs to return to her beloved
mountains. She finds great happiness when she returns to her
grandfather in the end. Let us find out what happens the day after
she reaches her grandfather’s cottage with Dete.
