Abacus Time
Show Numeral on the Abacus
An abacus is a counting tool. A two pin abacus can be used to show
numeral of a two digit number. The pin on the left is for tens and
that on the right is for ones.
Suppose we wish to show 56 on the abacus. T O
56 = 5 tens + 6 ones.
This can be shown by 5 beads on T and 6 beads on O.
