On this festival, holy processions

are taken out. Langars are held

where people eat together.

How beautiful the Christmas

tree is! Maria has decorated it

on the eve of Christmas.

Christmas is the birthday of

Jesus Christ. We celebrate

Christmas on 25 December every
year. On this day, we decorate a

beautiful Christmas tree. We go

to the church to pray.

National Festivals

We have three national festivals.

 Republic Day (26 January)

 Independence Day (15 August)

 Gandhi Jayanti (2 October)

They are called national festivals
because they are celebrated by

the entire country.
