Position Words (Prepositions)
Position words tell us where a person, thing or animal is.
The teddy bear is in the box.
The teddy bear is on the chair.
The teddy bear is under the table.
The teddy bear is near the baby.
All the highlighted words are position words.
Position words are also called prepositions.
