Balloons Sailboat Tube

Air has weight

Take two balloons. Fill air in one of them.

Hang the balloons at the ends of a stick.
Hang the stick from the centre with a thread.

You will see that the end of the stick with the

air-filled balloon goes down. This shows that

air has weight.

Air takes up space

Take a balloon. Blow air into it. It becomes big in

size. This is because air fills up the space inside the

balloon. This shows that air takes up space.

Remember

 Air is all around us.

 We cannot see air but we can feel it.

 Air has weight.

 Air takes up space.
